On Friday, Nov. 17, St. Luke’s Blues Band filled the Seldin Performing Arts Center with joy-infused sounds as students, faculty, and staff came together for two high-energy performances.
Audiences were blown away by songs including “I’ll Do Anything” and “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” Annie Meyer’s '26 guitar solo of “Eruption” by Van Halen, and a special performance of Beastie Boy’s “Fight for Your Right” from our staff and administrators.
“Blues Band inspired beautiful One St. Luke's moments as the happy cheers of students, faculty, and staff filled the Seldin Performing Arts Center,” shared Head of School Mary Halpin Carter. “A special shoutout to music teachers Peter Valera, Maggie Lauer, and Beth Woelflein, Systems Support Specialist PJ Clarke, and all our Blues Band performers. Thank you for bringing music to our ears and smiles to our faces.”
