On Thursday, December 1, the Parents’ Association hosted a screening and discussion of the documentary If They Had Known, a tragic look at the risks of recreationally mixing prescription drugs and alcohol.
After watching the short movie, Director of Counseling and Well-Being, Kari Olsen and Upper School Health and Wellness Coordinator, Camille DeMarco-Havens led the discussion by encouraging the parents and guardians in attendance to share their thoughts and questions. The evening culminated with Kari and Camille providing suggestions for how to start and continue conversations with our kids about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, and the risks of mixing the two.
For those who could not make the event, please reach out to Kari Olsen for access to watch If They Had Known.
