SLS PA: Mosaic End-of-Summer Potluck Gathering

KS
St. Luke’s Mosaic held its annual end-of-summer community-wide family Potluck Gathering on Thursday, August 18.

Despite a passing rain shower, new and current St. Luke’s families, along with faculty and staff, gathered on the Be Kind Plaza for tons of food and lots of fun. Music filled the air as attendees played a friendly game of “mingle bingo” with two winners taking home Starbucks gift cards, before a delicious dinner was enjoyed by all.

Greetings & remarks were then shared by Head of School Dr. Mary Halpin Carter, Director of Equity and Inclusion Director Jaci Nelson, and Director of Enrollment Management Jason Giffen.

Thank you to the 2022-2023 Mosaic Chairs (Ines Marque P’26, Uchenna Pratt P’21, ‘23, Karla Sead P’19, ’20, ’23, and Ayana Thomas P’28) for a fantastic evening of delicious food, fun, and laughter.

Mosaic is a group for St. Luke’s families of color, multicultural families, and any member of the SLS community who would like to celebrate the school’s diversity. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email slsmosaic.ct@gmail.com.
